Once upon a time, three little pigs decided to build houses for themselves. The first little pig was lazy and built his house out of straw because it was quick and easy.
The second little pig worked a bit harder, but still took some shortcuts, making his house out of sticks.
The third little pig was very hard-working. He took his time and built his house out of bricks.
One day, a big bad wolf came along. He knocked on the door of the straw house and said, “Little pig, little pig, let me come in!”
The little pig said, “No, no, by the hair on my chinny chin chin, I will not let you in!”
So the wolf huffed and puffed and blew the straw house down. The first little pig ran to his brother’s stick house.
The wolf then went to the stick house and said, “Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in!”
The pigs replied, “No, no, by the hair on our chinny chin chins, we will not let you in!”
So the wolf huffed and puffed and blew the stick house down too. The two little pigs ran to their brother’s brick house.
The wolf tried to huff and puff and blow the brick house down, but he could not blow it down. The three little pigs were safe inside.
The big bad wolf tried to trick the pigs by coming down the chimney, but the third little pig had a pot of boiling water ready. The wolf fell into the pot and ran away, never to bother the three pigs again.
The three little pigs learned that hard work pays off and to always plan ahead carefully.
The end.
